ok...i've laid off for almost 2 solid weeks.
not that i've done anything meaningful. studying is not meaningful to me. at least not now when i've to take papers and it includes LAN and CHINESE...i'm just studying cos...i need to study. HEH
was watching a programme on tv last sunday nite. about kids in china who suffers from poverty and they can't even see properly even with thick spectacles on. it was really saddening. they wanna study so much but can't. i'm sitting my ass nicely in a University and i don't wanna study. so i turned off the VOLUME(yes...the volume, not the tv) and read up on my thick thick notes. it didn't last long of course. the high wanna-study-cos-i'm-lucky spirit in me faded just after a few hours. THAT'S A WHOLE LOT YOU KNOW!!!
so i'm back in PJ, back to my condo, some place where i can access to the internet...without any problem. the computer at home really needs to be disposed off!!
had my first paper today. english. freak. it was difficult.
re-read the comprehension passage 3 times onli realized what i was reading. wasn't fully awake too anyway. there was this 'little hurricane' last night and tammy and i ended up rushing to the balcony to collect everything so that they won't fly away! and the wind was so strong the sliding glass doors rattled. that was almost 6am...i was supposed to wake up at 7.15!! DAMN!!!
anyway, the comprehension passage was about 'DEMAND FOR BEEF SPREADS DESTRUCTION OF AMAZON FOREST'...
by looking at the topic, u know it's boring. but we had onli 2 hours so i picked up the pen and started writing since...hehe
the rest were ok. not too much of a problem...(i hope).
ESSAY WRITING.
Choose ONE of the following topics. Write and essay of at least 350 words.
Q1. The media has had a negative effect on young Malaysians. Would you agree or disagree with this statement? [40 marks]
Q2. Compare and contrast learning a skill from experience and learning a skill from books. [40 marks]
Q3. Discuss the causes and effects of unemployment among university graduates. [40 marks]
i'm kinda glad i chose Q1. i have been studying about the media for the past 1/2 a year anyway. and the best part was...not many did it. miss angela said the good thing about writing something not many ppl writes is...'there won't be too much comparison'. HAH!! BAGUUUUUS...
it took me 1hr 35 mins to complete the whole paper. placed my pen down at exactly 10.35am to realize that i've been so absorbed into the paper i didn't know what was happening around me. there were stacks and stacks of envolopes on the stage and the lecturers were seated like buddhas rite in front of me. and i assume they've been toking non stop cause after i was back to reality, they were damn bising...
chinese paper would be on thursday. not too worried about it actually. so won't tok too much about it.
can't wait for the exams to be over. i wanna go home! i wanna finish my YUMMY YUMMY and i wanna go for a holiday with my frens and family!!!
and most importantly, i wanna get back to the gym...aih
p.s- i have a bump on the left hand side of my head and a bruise on my feet. no idea where they came from. SAKIT!
