*dusts self*

OHAI!!!

It's been a while.
A long...long while.

One, I've been too busy *coughs* lazy *coughs*
Two, Twitter does the job way faster.
Three...I'm lazy.
It usually suddenly pops up in my mind that I need to update about Italy.
WTF it's been too long, but I still very much do wanna talk about it. Perhaps if someone could just help manage the pictures I'd do up a post pretty quick.

Not that anyone is reading but WTF, I'm pretty sure I'd have Alzheimer's soon so there...er...next post. Jyeah...

I've been writing *never seem to complete*
I've been singing *for a probably non-existent crowd*
I've been waiting for a reply...that'll probably never come. Jun oh Jun, Y U NO REPLY.

Anyways, speaking of music, David Choi was here. I met him. He met me. I fell hard for him all over again. I'm sure he doesn't remember me anymore but...hate me bitches. He was HOT.

We look lovely I know. Kthanx.

And then a couple hours ago, I met Soler. Fell not as hard but, almost there.
If you know them *you probably won't*, THEN HATE ME TOOO!!!!

And finally, absolutely music related...I'm...
*wait for it...*
*WAITTT FOR ITTTT...*

I'm inking.
KTHANX!

Shameless Post

Just cause I haven't been updating.

Shameless too that:
1) Jun Kung visited my AnD profile
2) Someone on Twitter regarded me as a Malaysian Youtube 'star'. FUNNY.
Thanks, Harinder.
3) Shoutout on BFM by Johanan Sen. For that, he's way too awesome.

I've been watching too many movies.
Not that I'm complaining. But the embargoes are annoying me.
Let me bring my friends to all the screenings then! Promise we won't talk outta the halls.

Pfft.
3am talk.
Just joking.

There. Updated.

Night.

The Hiatus

Currently listening to:

Mavis Fan, Innocent

...HAS TO STOP.

I blame it on my current work station. Oh well, I'm always blaming WTF.

2 brighter notes.

Wait, one and a half.

ONE, I quit.

JYEAH!

The other ONE HALF, I'm flying off again this coming Mondy.

JYEA...hang on...it's a 13 hour flight. *cringes*

I don't do flights well. Where's the floo powder. Pfft.

Seriously, I hope it drizzles when we're in Florence. I'd kick my shoes off and dance in the rain. Just cause I think it's sexy. More love if a hot hunk comes along. And there's live music.

Stop staring. Leave me alone!

2011 Thus Far...

I haven't been blogging much mainly because:

1) I haven't received the pictures from Hong Kong
2) I've been lazy
3) I've been very, very lazy

It's mid Jan now, a lot has happened and I think I shall at least pen a few words before I...
wait...what was I talking about?

Neh, jokes...I mean I'm really forgetful *don't gimme that look I know you know* and I'm pretty sure I have mild Alzeimer's disease even at such an age. Hence...here's what happened...

Jan 1st - 4th
I started the year in Hong Kong with Linda.
And contrary to what I've been telling everyone that I was going there for a holiday, it's actually...no wait...I went there for a holiday. A holiday with a twist.

I submitted my Youtube video to the Hummingbird Brand New Star audition slightly before Christmas. On 22 December 2010, I received an email saying that I scored a chance to head to Hong Kong for the finals on 2nd Jan.

Stoked.

Honestly, winning isn't on my mind. More like...FORGET IT I WON'T WIN!
The other 13 contestants were way too awesome. It was a mind-blowing experience to get to know them, meet the producers and...sing.

To everyone that watched, clicked like, complimented, critisized, re-watched, re-watched again...Thank You. YOU DUH AWESOME.

To those who haven't, go click now. Slow!

TEEHEE. Kidding. But honestly, thank you. I less than 3 you.

That aside, Renn Zhern asked if I was interested to participate in his music school's concert and perform along, with him on the piano. I said yes, almost immediately. Probably before he even completed his sentence.

He had to transpose the song because...I'm annoying that way.
And we shared the stage yesterday, on 16 Jan, Wisma Bently, with me singing a themesong from a Cantonese drama, Revolving Doors of Vengeance.

Yeah I know right...TVB dramas ALWAYS sound dramatic. It's...a drama. Get it? d^.^b

Watch here...if you want to.

And then leave a comment telling Cheah Renn Zhern the awesome pianist, how fantabulous he was. Or IS. Oh, and also spread some love because he'd be leaving to Tasmania soon to further his studies.

Cheah Renn Zhern. I miss chu, already!!!

The...orchestra.

The score.

The drummer. That made me go...O.O and :O
Jonathan Chew.

Couldn't resist.
A group of very colourful children backed Jonathan up to We Will Rock You. Queen's version.

<3

The average age. Spot the kid on the right.
Drummer boy. Scroll up. Yes, he's the kid in the shades. d^.^b

Bernard. Spanish Eyes.
Munkie, this...is the Suff lookalike with a very lovable daughter. ;)

We Will Rock You!!!!!!

Tan King Hao. The cameraman. Videographer.
You is best.

Study hard.
And study smart.

Come back and I'd be your first ADD patient, aite?

Anything that makes you happy.
Gracias.

On a more solemn note, the parents are having a rather fantastic time roaming the streets of Penang then further up north to meet their friends.

Again.

Yeah they're hyper. And happening. And happily retired.
Wait...Mommy's partially retired...but...OH WELL...

I'm glad they're having a good time. REALLY. From the bottom of my little heart.
All those romantic dinners by the beach, the slow drive to the butterfly park, being satiated by the never ending hawker stalls etc...

But honestly, I miss them.
Because...

WHAT AM I GONNA HAVE FOR DINNER NAO?!
Hang on a sec...I'm not spoiled. I just dislike eating out.

*depressingly in denial*

Apparently...she's 95.

I always believe that my grammama is waaaay older than she is.
You know how people tend to register their kids later than they're supposed to back then.

According to Mommy, popo's NINE-FIVE.
Don't get me wrong, that's a really big number.
But I personally believe she could be a centurion.

For all you know, she probably was a friend of Dumbledore before she came to Malaysia.

Saang Yud Faai Lok, POPO!
And you got it right! I'm Ah San *pats head*

Every wrinkle represents a smile

Now, stop smiling everyone.
Ok, just kidding. This lady only smiles upon request.
One heckuvva diva if you're asking me.

TEEHEE

On a serious note, Secret Recipe should really get someone Chinese literate to partially run their business.

Because to be honest, I think I'd have written better with my left toe.

And the last thing I remember before the day went down the drain.

A guitar, 2 voices, 2.5 hours.
I thank the bacteria that they decided to attack later.

Little Black Notes

I'm a sucker for instrumental soundtracks.
Ever since the oh-so-corny, Titanic? Yes I knew every single beat to the tracks, including the lines.

Hans Zimmer.
James Horner.
John Williams.
Pierre Adenot...and
The little black notes.

They're powerful.
Subtle. Yet convincing.
Like shadows talking. No words. Just presence.
That it's there.

Sometimes, we just need people like that around us, don't we?
Just to let us know that they're always by our sides, even if they don't utter a single word, we know...they're there. Watching. Encouraging.
Maybe sometimes a few words of wisdom if requested.
Too much and the aura is bastardized.

How much do we need to talk, to be considered enough?
And when it's all talk, with bare minimum response, what is it?
Beats me.

Pfft.
PMS talking. Why isn't my period here.
Oh sorry, TMI?

Oh, it's Thanksgiving, you Americans.
Erm...I'd like to thank the person who invented music. The little black notes.
Thank you.

Another Weekend!!!

Spot the EXXXXCLAMATION marks.

Yeah. The weekend was pretty cool.
Because I survived being Home Alone...TWO days in a row.
*standing ovation*
*sniffs*

It's a milestone.
A Peanutxz milestone WTH.

Anyways, weekend was cool. Attended a wedding, recorded a cover, played with my NERF, splurged on...food -.-, went for a singing practise and...did a DIY mask.

First things first...the RZ requested that I try out for the music school concert that would be held in January. Would need to sing a song, and today was the tryout.
'twas pretty fun.

Such delicate hands...of...Cheah Renn Zhern. HEH

She told me her name was Amy.
And before she left, the teacher yelled...'TINA! Your father's here!'

I bet her Mommy told her not to expose her name to strangers. Especially odd lookin' ones. MEH

Most of the pianists there, wore glasses. REAL glasses.

Pianos ruin eyesight. I'm glad I stopped.

Ok jokes. I'm a loser for failing to like the instrument when I was learning it.

Her Dad, would be singing We Are The World. And reminded me a lot of Suffian.

Munkie, if you're reading this, you'd both have such pretty babies. *less than 3*

One of the songs played. I flipped around and saw Viva La Vida.
Would volunteer to sing. Unfortunately...

My pianist.

OH WAIT sorry. Pfft who'm I to say that. He's THE PIANIST.
Round of applause everyone. He doesn't believe in looking straight at the camera for pictures. So...vintage.

HAH

DIY Mask

Got this from Bubz. Check out her Youtube channel for more.

Apple Cider Vinegar + Sugar + Green Tea + Honey (MASK)

Apple Cider Vinegar + Green Tea (Toner)

So, if you realize that I've suddenly disappeared, it means I've done this wrong and I'd probably have turned into Quasimodo or some sort.

See you every Halloween, if so.

Pay's out.
Which means...I have aside a little money, to buy...random stuff. As a hugeass portion went to my NERF, I forked out RM5 for this little can of candy I found in Daiso.

I've never really shopped in Daiso before until Choo Ki told me about it.
Needless to say, I went wild when I saw this.

Also seen in:

Totoro

Graveyard of the Fireflies

Not like I can eat the colourful bites of happiness but...shaking them and hearing the klonking sound makes me feel...chirpy. XD

Oh and Hau`oli la hanau (Happy Halloween in a-you-guess-it-language)

If you've ever commented or liked any of the random videos that I've posted, you rock!

I Took You for Granted

I know...

You've been the sweetest thing ever.
Ever since I held you in my arms...I knew.

How you serenaded me.
Kept me company.
Gave my life a little melody when it was quiet...

I took you for granted.
Forgoing the fact that...it's been a while since I've paid attention to how it is for you deep in.
On how I've asked for too much.

But...

DON'T SNAP ON ME LIDDAT CAN?!
PAINFUL YOU KNOW!

First thing next month.
I promise.

The last song recorded before Tyler broke a limb.
